Our Courses

WA course offerings can be taken independently or in conjunction with any high school program. Our courses allow for academic specialization while also preparing students for their major in college and/or future careers.

Benefits of Single Courses

By completing a single course, students can build a portfolio of work that can be used to demonstrate their skills and qualifications to college admissions officers and potential employers.

Single courses can introduce students to the specialized coursework of their prospective major in college, which can help them better understand the expectations and rigors of college-level classes.

Single courses can provide students with specialized training and skills that will be valuable in college and in the workforce.

Single courses can expose students to different fields of study, allowing them to make more informed decisions about which major to pursue in college.

Students who are not interested in graduating from WA Online can still earn credits and take courses from our catalog. This provides an extremely cost-effective way to enroll in a U.S. private school and take courses that interest you.

2. Accessibility: Our programs provide students with access to education from anywhere with an internet connection.

3. Personalized learning: In our programs, students can work at their own pace and repeat lessons as needed.

Single-course enrollments can prepare students for both college and the workforce. Electives with a vocational, career, or technical emphasis will help students gain specific skills or knowledge that are in demand in the workforce. Students can also explore courses that are not offered at their local school, but that they would like to complete to prepare for a specific college major in the future. Furthermore, students can explore our core course offerings to transfer or remediate back to their full-time school.
